Celestyal has released the shore excursion programme for its new-for-2024 ‘Heavenly Adriatic’ itinerary, with 35 tours available to book now.
Sailing on the 1,260-passenger Celestyal Journey, the seven-night itinerary launches on March 2, 2024.
Departing from Greece, it includes three new countries for the ship – Croatia, Montenegro and Italy – and six new maiden ports – Kefalonia, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu, Bari and Katakolo.
The shore excursions offer a range of half-day and full-day options. The line-up includes eight ‘Authentic Encounters’, which provide experiences with local people and attractions, and group sizes are limited to 20 guests or fewer.
Example excursions include:
‘Igor’s Magical Recycled Scrap Art’ in Dubrovnik. Comprises a guided sightseeing tour of the Old Town followed by a visit to the workshop and art gallery of Igor Hajdarhodzic, a Dubrovnik-born actor turned artist. Half-day tour from £111pp.
‘Hike and Bike’ in Kotor. Comprises a 15km bike ride from Kotor towards the village of Donji Stoliv, followed by a 45-minute hike through shaded woods to Gornji Stoliv, a village above the Bay of Kotor that has been completely abandoned. Half-day tour from £77pp.
‘Monopoli & Rural Life Experience’ in Bari. Comprises a tour of Monopoli, a city founded on the remains of an ancient Messapian settlement, and a visit to a traditional Apulian farm for mozzarella and focaccia tasting. Half-day tour from £102.
