In observance of the period of national mourning, CLIA has postponed Cruise Week activity by one week, with the new dates now confirmed as Friday 23 September to Sunday 2 October.
Event programme and information remain the same.
Specific trade activities to look forward to include:
- A host of marketing and social media activities, with shareable content and a particular focus on cruise destinations. A countdown will shortly begin online to help agents achieve maximum exposure
- From its Trade Working Groups, CLIA will share sales tips from cruise line executives to support travel agents looking to increase their sales
- A number of special Cruise Week webinars
- Exclusive cruise line deals and incentives for the trade, to be published in the membership area of the CLIA website
- A special Cruise Week page on CLIA’s website, offering a practical checklist of the ways in which agents can capitalise on the week and their CLIA membership, as well as download assets
- Agents are being encouraged to use social media, marketing, their own events and PR to help amplify the messages shared during Cruise Week
