The four-night cruise, which has three departures this summer, is round trip from Strasbourg with calls in Breisach, Colmar and Basel. Highlights include:
A guided tour of Strasbourg including UNESCO World Heritage Site, Petite France; the European Quarter where the European Parliament is located; the magnificent Gothic cathedral with its 46-foot high Rose Window, great organ and famous astronomical clock.
Free time in Breisach to stroll through its picturesque streets, enjoy a coffee in the main square or visit the cathedral which offers wonderful views of the Rhine and the Black Forest.
A guided tour of Colmar and its historic centre including the Maison des Têtes which owes its name to the 106 heads adorning its façade; and the quaint quarter known as Little Venice.
Also included is a visit to the Hansi Village and its museum where visitors can learn about Colmar in the time of the famous artist and activist Jean-Jacques Waltz who was considered a French hero during both world wars for his criticism of the Germans.
