Crystal Ski Holidays has introduced a new and improved Crystal Snow Promise.
Customers now have the option to change their holiday before they travel fee-free if less than 10% of runs are open in the ski area they’re travelling to, on bookings made by 30 November 2023.
The updated policy has been extended to ease customers’ snow-level concerns prior to travel as well as while they are on holiday*.
If there is a lack of snow or no snow in the four days before customers are due to travel, they will be able to change to an alternative Crystal package.
This benefit is available on any Crystal package holidays departing between December 2023 and April 2024.
To give further peace of mind, there’s also the option for skiers and snowboarders to upgrade to the Crystal Snow Promise Extra for only £25 per person.
This policy provides more scope and flexibility with fee-free changes possible if less than 50% of runs are open in the ski area customers are travelling to.
Crystal Ski Holiday’s existing policy for customers in resort also still stands, whereby if less than 10% of runs are open in the ski area due to a lack of snow or no snow, Crystal will look to arrange up to three days of skiing in an open resort within a two-hour drive from the resort they’re staying in.
Local transport and new lift passes will be provided, so all skiers need to worry about is hopping on the coach to get them there.

“We’ve reviewed and listened to our customers’ feedback, and we know that flexibility and choice is key to them, especially when it comes to their much-anticipated ski holiday.
“We look after every element of our customers’ ski holidays, and we wanted to make sure that our Snow Promise is there to support skiers and snowboarders on the rare occasion that the snow doesn’t show, as we want everyone to enjoy the mountains and come home with memories to last a lifetime.”
The new Crystal Snow Promise will be applied retrospectively for all customers who have booked so far and automatically included in all package holidays booked on or before 30 November 2023 for holidays departing between December 2023 and April 2024.
All customers will be given the option to upgrade to the Crystal Snow Promise Extra on holidays booked by 30 November 2023.
