Cunard is offering agents the chance to put their culinary skills to the test in an exclusive cookery masterclass with two Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux.
The esteemed chef will oversee four Le Gavroche at Sea residencies across four exciting Fjords voyages for Cunard guests in 2024.
To celebrate the partnership, the luxury cruise line is giving 10 travel agents the rare opportunity to gather first-hand insights from one of the world’s most famed chefs.
The all-day event will be hosted at Chewton Glen, the 5-star country house hotel and spa, in the New Forest on 20 March.
What the experience looks like:
- Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
Venue: Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, Christchurch Rd, New Milton, BH25 6QS - Details: Agents will learn from one of the best in the business, with a cooking demonstration from Michel Roux, followed by a delicious lunch at Chewton Glen. In the afternoon, roles will be reversed as agents cook the recipe under the guidance of Michel
- Agents will need to make their own travel arrangements to and from the venue. Complimentary transfers to and from New Milton train station, courtesy of Chewton Glen, will be available. Ingredients for the day will be provided.
How to enter
Agents can visit Shine Rewards Club and put their Michel Roux knowledge to the test by correctly answering a question about his collaboration with Cunard to be in with a chance of winning a place on this exclusive experience.
The competition opens at 9am today (11 January) and closes at 11:59pm on 26 January.
All correct responses will be entered into a draw and the 10 winners will be selected at random. All winners will be notified by email within 14 working days of the competition closing.
Le Gavroche at Sea collaboration
The exclusive series will be delivered in partnership with the Norwegian Seafood Council and begins with Le Gavroche at The Verandah aboard Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2 for her sailing to Hardangerfjord on 2 June.
The five-night residency – which will be an additional charge for guests – will cater for 60 diners each evening, showcasing a beautiful variety of Michel’s signature seafood specialities and elevated culinary classics.
Guests will be treated to a five-course tasting menu infused with all the flavours of the sea, elegantly finessed using the very best produce.
