Meyer Werft has officially delivered the Disney Treasure to Disney Cruise Line, marking the final construction milestone for the cruise line’s newest ship.
The Disney Treasure is the latest ship to join Disney Cruise Line’s fleet and the fifth Disney ship built by Meyer Werft.
According to Meyer Werft, the Disney Treasure features “some of the most complex and innovative entertainment facilities” in the cruise industry.
The ship has been completed earlier than contractually agreed and will set sail with guests in December 2024.

Meyer Werft CEO Bernd Eikens said:
“We are very happy to hand over the Disney Treasure to Disney Cruise Line today. She is the newest milestone in our longstanding partnership and everyone at MEYER WERFT has put a lot of effort and passion into Disney Treasure.”
Thomas Mazloum, President of Disney Signature Experiences said:
“The Disney Treasure is yet another example of how we’re bringing the magic of Disney cruising to more fans than ever before – and today, we are one step closer to debuting this spectacular ship to the world.
“We’re incredibly thankful for our work with Meyer Werft and look forward to our bright future together as we continue to expand the Disney Cruise Line fleet.”
Entertainment & Experiences
Onboard the Disney Treasure are all the unique spaces, family entertainment, and world-class dining that Disney Cruise Line is known for.
The Walt Disney Theatre will hold three Broadway-style stage productions including Disney Cruise Line favourites Beauty and the Beast and Seas the Adventure.
On the upper decks, Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party will have music, fireworks, and some of the most partying pirates on the seven seas.
In terms of thrills, there’s AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg. Disney Cruise Line’s own attraction at sea will plunge guests into the world of Mickey Mouse and his animated shorts with 760 feet of winding tubes that will offer breathtaking views of the ocean and the Disney Treasure itself.
There is also fun and relaxation for adults, including luxurious spa treatments, intimate dining, specialty shopping, and captivating lounges.
Themed Dining
Guests can look forward to several new dining experiences onboard the Disney Treasure when it sets sail in December 2024.
From an adult lounge themed to “The Aristocats” and a heartwarming “Guardians of the Galaxy” dinner offering, to a “Coco”-inspired menu and premium sweet treats straight out of “Zootopia”.
Worlds of Marvel will be a dining experience that includes everyone’s favourite web-slinger, Spider-Man.
Then there’s 1923, a family restaurant that gives guests a taste of old Hollywood and integrates them in the history of The Walt Disney Company.
There will also be more adult-orientated bars such as the Jungle Cruise-inspired Skipper Society that will offer themed cocktails, light snacks, and décor and The Periscope Pub will take guests on an adventure 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Other adult favourite dining such as The Rose, Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement will offer amazing views and gourmet meals.
