easyJet New Edinburgh-Sharm El Sheikh Route

easyJet has launched a new route from Edinburgh to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, which will take off for the first time next winter, with flights and holidays now on sale.

The inaugural flight to Sharm El Sheikh from Edinburgh will take off for the first time on 10 November 2026 operating on Tuesdays throughout the winter, offering winter sun, pristine beaches, and world-class diving in the Red Sea.

Set on the southern tip of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, Sharm El Sheikh is a world-renowned destination offering the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

Framed by golden desert landscapes and the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea, Sharm El Sheikh is best known for its pristine beaches and exceptional marine life.

Travellers can explore vibrant coral reefs through snorkelling and diving in Ras Mohammed National Park, unwind at beachfront resorts, or experience desert safaris and traditional Bedouin culture just beyond the city.

Sharm El Sheikh also offers a lively dining and entertainment scene, alongside tranquil escapes for those looking to relax and unwind, making it an ideal destination for travellers looking for sunshine, sea, and adventure.
