Emirates is boosting its connectivity to the Indian Ocean by introducing a third daily flight to the popular island destination, Mauritius.
The additional evening frequency will start on 1 October 2022 and will boost seat capacity to and from Mauritius by approximately 35%.
The new flight supplements the existing double-daily Airbus A380 services and offers customers travelling to Mauritius more flexibility.
When planning their trip, passengers can choose an early morning arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
This is in addition to the existing EK 0701 service which arrives mid-morning, and EK 0703 which arrives early evening.
Emirates currently operates 9 daily flights to the Seychelles, Mauritius and Maldives from its hub, Dubai International Airport.
Mauritius
Visitors to Mauritius can enjoy consistent temperatures all year round alongside an array of diving and snorkelling spots.
The recently renovated JW Marriott Mauritius Resort provides idyllic views over the lagoon with a backdrop of Le Morne Brabant Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are also many beaches to visit, including the bustling Grand Baie in the north, to the tree-lined strip of St Félix in the south.
Meanwhile for those who want to take in the views from above, can see the Underwater Waterfall by helicopter.
Seychelles
Nestled in the Indian Ocean, a holiday to Seychelles is the perfect winter escape, offering picturesque beaches, bustling markets and luscious green mountains.
Seychelles is also home to several species of animals, birds and plants that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
Visitors to Curieuse Marine National Park can experience this for themselves and more including the renowned giant tortoises to Coco De Mer, the world’s largest nut.
Maldives
With 1,200 islands over a length of 541 miles, the Maldives is the perfect place to unwind.
Holidaymakers can enjoy sunbathing on white beaches and snorkelling in the turquoise sea – made even more exciting with a stay in one of the famous over-water bungalows.
Those more adventurous can take a trip to the many diving spots, such as the famous Maaya Thila.
Divers will have the chance to see resident marine species such as turtles, rays, Napoleon wrasse and several varieties of sharks.
Customers can book their Indian Ocean island getaways to Maldives, Mauritius and Seychelles, through Emirates Holidays.
