The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) has opened registration for its first two intensive training events or ECN Bootcamps and a new comprehensive Antarctica Selling Guide for new to expedition cruising travel advisors.
The bootcamps will be hosted by ECN Members – Silversea in their London city offices on Wednesday 17 July 2024 (and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours in their Manchester office on Thursday 18 July 2024.
Each bootcamp will be open to 12 travel advisors to attend a day of intense Antarctic training.

“Although Antarctica has become highly sought after, it is still one of the last true wildernesses on earth and a tremendously fragile environment.
“Visiting is a privilege. Our new bespoke face-to-face training days will provide delegates with a deep understanding of the destination, insights into key considerations when recommending expedition cruises and help travel advisors sell Antarctica responsibly.
“The bootcamps are the first of their kind and are intended to be intense training events where travel trade professionals can come together to learn about expedition cruising from ECN’s signature training courses and expedition cruise suppliers.”
The first two ECN Antarctica bootcamps will include training on expedition cruising in general amd Antarctica as a destination.
Attendees will hear from five handpicked expedition cruise operators about their Antarctic programmes.
They will get the knowledge and skills to sell expedition cruising to the white continent, and a clear understanding of the different operators and products.
