Flight Centre has launched its biggest competition to date to mark the momentous occasion of turning forty.
The company is giving customers the chance to win one of 40 holidays, designed specially by Flight Centre experts.
To be in the running to win, customers can enter into a prize pool by 31 August 2022 either in-store, online, or by pre-registering for the Travel Runway 2.0 virtual experience.
Flight Centre’s Global Managing Director Andrew Stark said: “40 lucky customers will each win a holiday from a total prize pool of up to £220,000 in our first global competition that is bigger than any prize draw we’ve run before.”
The competition is open to customers from Flight Centres’ key operational bases including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Canada.
With a prize value of £5,500 for each winner in the UK, Flight Centre aspire “to open up the world for those who want to see”.
Prizes include a 7-night luxury escape to the Maldives, a pamper day at the Shine Spa at the Siyam World hotel, or, a city escape to Singapore, for a 5-night trip.
“Our 40th birthday is all about Flight Centre maturing into a truly global entity, so the scale of our 40th birthday prize draw and the launch of our bigger, bolder Travel Runway 2.0 virtual experience has been designed to reflect just that,” said Mr Stark.
“We’re also putting every frontline Flight Centre employee into a draw to win a holiday. It’s a small token we feel our people deserve after a whirlwind two years as travel booms once again.”
Pre-registration for Travel Runway, Flight Centre’s virtual fashion show, will go live from 25 May 2022, prior to its official launch on 9 June 2022.
The online interactive experience lets customers sample seven unique “runways” showcasing a collection of the world’s best travel experiences, with pre-registration securing automatic entry into the 40th celebration prize draw.
