Fred. Olsen Travel has announced an all-time record start to the year.
The company encompasses 17 retail branches of Fred. Olsen Travel Agents, Star Clippers, Go Cruise & Travel, Fred. Holidays and the company’s Business Travel department.
In a statement, Fred. Olsen Travel said every department exceed their income budget for the week of 8th January and consequently produce record income levels for a single week.
This news is particularly exciting for the company as its turn-of-year marketing didn’t hit until 14th January so hopes are high for another record week this week.

“It is obviously a strong market at the moment which is wonderful for the travel industry.
“Our record week is especially pleasing as throughout the pandemic we took the decision to continue investing in the business, both in terms of the number of retail outlets which have increased by six since 2019, and new products such as Rail and Discover within Fred. Holidays and the team itself, with the recruitment of some key staff across our business.
