Fred. Olsen Launches Summer Programme, Ten Agents To Win VIP Cruise

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled its brand new cruising programme for the summer of 2023.

Cruisers can expect a host of scenic sailings, cultural discoveries and calls that coincide with special events ashore.

Itineraries include adventures to lesser-known cities in the Adriatic including Durrës in Albania, Neum in Bosnia and Koper in Slovenia; Midnight Sun in sailings to Arctic Norway and Spitsbergen; and sail the Amalfi Coast at sunrise and sunset.

The programme offers more than 40 sailings departing between June and October 2023, with regional departures available from Southampton, Dover, London Tilbury, Liverpool, Newcastle, Rosyth and Belfast.

Perks include £250 per person to spend on board, or up to £500 per person when booking a suite.

On selected July and August 2023 cruises, guests can opt to add a third guest from £199 when sharing with two others, plus a number of no single supplement offers for solo travellers too.

The new itineraries are on sale now. To celebrate the launch, Fred. Olsen is offering 10 agents the chance to win a VIP cruise to Iceland this June.

All agents need to do is register new bookings from the summer 2023 programme made between 16th March and 15th April via the dedicated Travel Agent Centre.

Geoff Ridgeon, Head of Sales at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines said:

“Our new summer programme really showcases what makes us special, and we have hand-crafted each cruise to celebrate the smaller size of our ships and the opportunities they allow us to offer our guests and your customers.

“You will find a number of cruises that have been timed specifically to allow guests to witness a destination at its seasonal best or to coincide with a special event ashore. For example, Braemar is calling into the Danish town of Fredericia next July in time for the annual 6th July celebrations, while in October Borealis is venturing to Canada in time for guests to witness the spectacular autumnal foliage.

“In addition, we know that guests want to have real experiences when they travel with us, which is why we are already curating an immersive programme ashore to show guests the very best in the destinations we visit, away from the mass market tours and the large crowds.

“With us, guests can learn the Flamenco in Seville, rather than simply watching a performance, or can visit the rice fields in Valencia and learn more about how the farmers here helped shape the flavours of the region.

“We are so proud of our new programme, and are marking the launch by giving you, as agents, the chance to join us on board to experience The Olsen Way for yourselves, and to thank you for all of your support in sharing our new sailings with your customers.”
