Fred. Olsen Unveils New Inclusive Pricing & Dining Drinks

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 programme, with more than 30 voyages to destinations such as Norway and the Mediterranean and more – plus chances to seek out the Northern Lights and the Geminid Meteor Shower.

The programme includes several standout sailings, such as Fred. Olsen’s three-ship Fleet Fiesta in Gran Canaria in December 2026, a Mystery Cruise, three festive Christmas and New Year sailings and the return of the line’s You Choose Your Cruise adventure.

There will also be a 71-night Grand Voyage, encompassing a new Mediterranean fly-cruise programme, taking in Corsica, the Adriatic, Greece, the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast and more.

Also included are new calls into the Italian ports of Messina, Siracusa and Savona, plus Lesvos and Samos in Greece.

The new sailings will be included within Fred. Olsen’s Freedom Fare Price Promise, which was unveiled at the end of last year.

This means that guests who book a Freedom Fare within the first four weeks of a cruise going on sale will receive either a cabin upgrade or credit to spend on board, should an equivalent cabin on their cruise be reduced at a later date.

Booking a Freedom Fare comes with additional benefits, such as the ability to choose your cabin grade and number, dining time and table size, among others.

Martin Lister, Head of Product Innovation at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“We have had great fun planning our next programme of cruising, with plenty of sailings offering the chance to extend summer’s warmth as the days become shorter and darker back home.

“For those looking for a longer adventure, there’s our 71-night Grand Voyage, plus a range of shorter, destination-rich fly-cruises to the Mediterranean, taking in its beautiful scenic coastline.

“We’ve also included some particularly special sailings to both warmer and cooler climates, from the chance to witness the Geminid Meteor Shower from the vantage point of the sea, where there is less light pollution, to adventures to seek out the Northern Lights.

“Extra special for December 2026, is our ‘Fleet Fiesta’, the fourth event of its kind where our fleet come together, accompanied by a day filled with festivities on the quayside, with the Canaries’ year-round sunshine providing the perfect setting.”

In addition to the new Autumn/Winter programme, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled its new inclusive pricing, complete with dining drinks, that will come into force for all sailings from January 2026 onwards.

This means that, in addition to full board dining, guests will be able to enjoy house beers, wines, spirits, and draught soft drinks with lunch and dinner; entertainment and enrichment activities.

Also included are shuttle buses when the port is more than one mile from the ship; guided social strolls in selected ports; fitness classes; crew gratuities and port fees and taxes – all covered in the cost of their initial cruise fare.

In addition, Fred. Olsen is introducing a new Premium Drinks Package as an optional upgrade.

Guests who have already booked a drinks package for a cruise in 2026 will automatically be upgraded to the new Premium Drinks Package at no extra cost.

Doug Glenwright, Guest Experience Director at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines said:

“We know that cruising provides exceptional value for money when compared with many overland equivalents, but feedback from our guests told us that this wasn’t always clear.

“It’s really important to us that every cruise is relaxing and carefree, and that should start right from the moment a booking is made.

“That’s why we’ve listened to our guests, and made our pricing simpler, clearer, and more inclusive – so that guests can look ahead to exploring the world with us without worrying about extra costs.”
