A new gateway to Guernsey with British Airways – April 2026
British Airways is launching new daily routes from London Heathrow in April next year. Celebrated for its Caribbean-like beaches, breathtaking scenery, rare wildlife-spotting, stargazing opportunities and delicious cuisine, the Islands of Guernsey have long been a favourite holiday destination for Brits.
The launch of the new daily flights from British Airways means the islands will be even more accessible for visitors to enjoy and experience their warm, welcoming hospitality. Return flights from £101.
A celebration of island flavour – The Big Eat Guernsey debuts – April & October 2026

Continuing the run of new gastronomy experiences, 2026 will see the launch of The Big Eat Guernsey, a month-long food festival running in both April and October that celebrates the distinctive flavours and culinary culture of Guernsey and its neighbouring isles.
The Big Eat will be a chance to sample authentic island produce, in particular seafood and locally produced dairy. The festival will feature special month-long menus at local restaurants, cafes and eateries, immersive food experiences and outdoor dining events.
Each immersive, themed experience will come under one of four themes – Meet the Locals, The Great Outdoors, Foraging and Fine Dining, or French connections.
Herm Island’s Rest, Restore, Reflect Yoga Retreat – April 2026

In spring 2026, visitors can discover a restorative escape on car-free Herm Island with the Rest, Restore, Reflect Yoga Retreat taking place from 17-19 April 2026. Hosted by Yoga Elements, the retreat will be led by Katie, who brings 10 years of retreat experience, 13 years of teaching and 25 years of practice.
The retreat offers an exclusive space designed to dissolve tension, quiet the mind and encourage a deeper connection to the present moment. Guests will enjoy private accommodation at the White House Hotel or Cottages, taste nourishing vegetarian meals at the Mermaid Tavern and enjoy a full programme of gentle yoga classes.
Optional treatments, stunning coastal walks, sea swims and peaceful hotel grounds will also be available for guests, allowing participants to tailor the experience to their own pace.
Taking place from Friday afternoon – Sunday morning, prices start from £570 per person excluding travel.
Elevate your swing at La Grande Mare resort
A luxury resort on Guernsey’s west coast, La Grande Mare is undergoing a multi-million-pound transformation into a world-class country club.
The redevelopment includes an 18-hole golf course, Golf Performance Centre, health club, spa, fine dining and eco-conscious design. The golf course is expected to open in autumn 2026, with the country club following in 2027.
