Heathrow Opens Dedicated Red List Arrivals Terminal

Heathrow’s Terminal 3 has reopened as a dedicated arrivals terminal for red list countries arriving into the UK. This move comes after the concerns of passengers mixing in queues during immigration.

With 43 countries currently on the red list, but direct flights permitted only from a few, and only British and Irish nationals or UK residents are allowed to travel from these countries.

Currently, anyone who has been in a red list country in the previous ten days, whether they took a direct flight or came via another country, is required to pay for quarantine in a hotel for ten nights after their arrival.

Heathrow is adapting to this longer-term reality for the foreseeable.
