Holland America Line has announced four new ‘Legendary Voyages’, which will set sail in 2025 and early 2026. The departures, which range from 28 to 51 days, are available to book now.
Legendary Voyages were introduced by Holland America earlier this year, with previously-announced sailings heading to the likes of Canada and New England, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific in 2024 and 2025.
They offer guests extended exploration opportunities, with an emphasis on providing insight into the history and culture of the destinations visited.
The latest departures comprise:
Glaciers & Volcanoes: Alaska to Hawaii. A 28-day voyage sailing August 31, 2025 roundtrip from Seattle aboard Westerdam, from £4,799pp. The itinerary includes:
– Five ports in Alaska: Sitka, Seward, Anchorage (overnight), Kodiak and Dutch Harbor, and scenic cruising across the Inside Passage, Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord and Prince William Sound.
– Four ports in Hawaii: Nawiliwili, Honolulu (overnight), Kona and Hilo, and scenic cruising around Kilauea Volcano.
Tales of the South Pacific. A 51-day voyage sailing September 24, 2025 roundtrip from San Diego aboard Zaandam, from £9,159pp. The itinerary includes:
– Visits to 25 ports including San Francisco and Avalon in California, five ports in Hawaii, four ports in Fiji, seven calls in French Polynesia plus Kiribati, American Samoa, Samoa, Tonga and the Cook Islands.
– Overnight calls at Honolulu and Papeete.
Amazon Explorer. A 30-day voyage sailing November 21, 2025 from New York to Fort Lauderdale aboard Volendam, from £6,099pp. The itinerary includes:
– Six Caribbean Islands: St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Curaçao and Aruba.
– Six ports in Brazil: Macapá, Santarém, Boca Da Valeria, Manaus (overnight), Parintins and Alter de Chão, plus French Guiana.
– 10 days cruising the Amazon River to Manaus and back, including two equator crossings.
Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas. A 35-day voyage sailing February 14, 2026 roundtrip from San Diego aboard Nieuw Amsterdam, from £6,024pp. The itinerary includes:
– Five ports in Hawaii: Nawiliwili, Honolulu, Kahului, Kona and Hilo.
– Pacific Island calls to Fanning Island (Kiribati), Moorea (overnight), Raiatea (overnight), Papeete (overnight), Fakarava and Nuka Hiva.
