Holland America Line has released details of its exclusive festive-themed food and beverage menus for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s Eve.
Guests can take advantage of a new ‘Breakfast with Santa,’ Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feasts, special Hanukkah treats and a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Families sailing in the Caribbean prior to or during Christmas can join Santa Claus at a special ‘Breakfast with Santa’, in Pinnacle Grill or Tamarind restaurant, on Signature and Pinnacle Class ships.
Santa will make his entrance after the family-friendly meal has been served and will be available for photos. Prices onboard are $25 per adult or $15 per child ages 3-17 years old.
Throughout December, guests of all ages can order a ‘Nutcracker Afternoon Tea Service’, offered on select sea days.
Both the dining room and Italian-inspired Canaletto will serve special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners.
In the dining room, Christmas Eve dinner will feature dishes from around the globe including Norway, Thailand, Spain and the Caribbean, while Canaletto will offer festive Italian fare.
For Hanukkah, guests can sample strawberry doughnuts – a nod to the story of Hannukah where oil burned for eight days. A traditional Thanksgiving feast will also be on offer.
Guests can also see in the New Year with several celebrations happening throughout the day.
New Year’s Eve celebrations kick off with a special dinner in the dining room, or a special menu is available at Pinnacle Grill for $69 per person.
The festivities move to the ship’s Lido Deck for a party, complete with canapes and sparkling toasts when the clock strikes midnight.

Guests can also raise a celebratory glass with speciality cocktails and a selection of non-alcoholic coffee drinks onboard.
A variety of winter departures are on offer including to the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Hawaii and Mexico.
