Holland America Line has announced four additional ‘Legendary Voyages’ for its 2025-2026 season.
The voyages were introduced by Holland America Line in 2023, with the first of the 2025-2026 departures launched late last year.
They offer guests extended exploration opportunities, with an emphasis on providing insight into the history and culture of the destinations visited.
The new itineraries comprise:
- A 28-day ‘Islands of the South Pacific’ cruise, departing Sydney on January 4, 2026, exploring 20 ports, with four calls in Queensland and a visit to the Great Barrier Reef, before visiting Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji and Tonga, and three calls in New Zealand.
- A 45-day ‘Ultimate Mediterranean and Atlantic’ voyage, roundtrip from New York, departing October 7, 2025, visiting 20 ports in Portugal, Spain, UK, Italy, Algeria, Tunisia, Malta, Greece, Turkey and Egypt. Overnights include Civitavecchia (Rome), IIstanbul and Alexandria (Cairo). The sailing is a recreation of a Holland America itinerary in 1925, marking a 100-year anniversary.
- A 27-day ‘South Pacific Crossing’, from Seattle to Sydney, departing October 12, 2025, and calling at nine ports across the Pacific Ocean, including four in Fiji and an overnight and late departure from Honolulu, Hawaii.
- A 36-day ‘South Pacific Crossing’, Sydney to Seattle, featuring 17 ports throughout New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Tahiti, the Cook Islands and Hawaii, with overnight stays at Papeete, Tahiti; and Honolulu. Departing March 15, 2026.
The four new ‘Legendary Voyages’ join eight previously announced itineraries that will be offered in 2025 and 2026, including a 28-day ‘Arctic Circle Crossing: Greenland and Iceland’ cruise on June 28, 2025, sailing roundtrip from Dover on Nieuw Statendam.
Other itineraries include:
- 28-day ‘Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice’ cruise, departing June 8, 2025, sailing roundtrip from Seattle.
- 25-day ‘Canada, New England, Greenland and Iceland’ voyage, departing July 12, 2025, sailing roundtrip from Boston.
- 35-day ‘Voyage of the Vikings’ Legendary Voyage, departing July 19, 2025, roundtrip from Boston.
- 28-day ‘Glaciers & Volcanoes: Alaska to Hawaii’ itinerary, departing August 31, 2025, roundtrip from Seattle
- 56-day ‘Tales of the South Pacific’ Legendary Voyage, departing September 24, 2025, from Vancouver to San Diego.
- 30-day ‘Amazon Explorer’, departing November 21, 2025, from New York to Fort Lauderdale.
- 35-day ‘Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas’ cruise, departing February 14, 2026, roundtrip from San Diego.
