Holland America Line’s World Voyage To Visit Seven Continents

Holland America Line has revealed that its 2026 Grand World Voyage will visit seven continents and feature a four-day Antarctic experience.

The 132-day itinerary on the 1,432-passenger Volendam, departing 4 January 2026, will take in 47 ports across 39 countries on an east-to-west route.

The ship will sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, travelling south to Antarctica and north to Oslo, Norway.

Volendam will cruise along the east coast of South America, crossing the equator before sailing down to Antarctica.

Other highlights include the islands of the South Pacific, en route to Australia to explore the Great Barrier Reef, and then Singapore and the Maldives.

The cruise will call at Alexandria, Egypt, for an overnight stay, before cruising through the Mediterranean and northern Europe, followed by an Atlantic Ocean crossing.

The voyage will feature nine overnight calls, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Papeete, Tahiti; Sydney, Australia; Bali, Indonesia; Singapore; Malé, Maldives; Lisbon, Portugal; and Safaga (Luxor) and Alexandria (Cairo), Egypt.

There will be late-night departures in Bahia d’ Opunoha, French Polynesia; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Civitavecchia (Rome); Oslo; and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The four-day Antarctic experience will include scenic cruising of the Chilean fjords, a visit to Easter Island, followed by scenic cruising of Pitcairn Island.

Guests can register their interest by calling the Holland America Line contact centre or travel agents can make a deposited Future Cruise Request.

Guests with a deposited Future Cruise Request will get priority booking confirmation before sales officially open.

Holland America Line is also offering an early booking bonus featuring up to $2000 in onboard credit per guest, £400pp air credit, a 3% pay-in-full discount, a free Wi-Fi Surf package and more.

Prices for the 2026 Grand World Voyage will be announced at a later date.
