Imagine Türkiye will be held at the British Museum Stevenson Lecture Hall on the 19 and 20 April in London from 9.30 am onwards.
Turkish and British tourism agencies will hold meetings and panel sessions at the event. B2B meetings will be followed by a conference at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London West End.
Event organizers of Imagine Türkiye said: “Our aim is to bring Turkish tourism leaders from Türkiye and tourism providers from the United Kingdom together to meet face to face and create great holiday options for British travellers.
“We hope to contribute new business opportunities based on the latest Tourism Industry developments in both countries.”
Türkiye had also recently announced its “Safe Tourism Certification Programme” under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The programme covers a broad range of safety measures taken towards transport, accommodation and health conditions of both hospitality employees and tourists.
Imagine Türkiye will showcase the country’s latest developments in the tourism sector. Event Coordinator Yalçın Avcı said: “We will open an important door to the UK market with our event.”
Imagine Türkiye Director A.Haluk Özsevim said: “We are hosting a significant number of tourists from this region. We must further increase the number and quality of incoming tourists. With our event, we would like to promote tourism activities in Turkey to the UK market.”
