Insight Vacations Unveils New Women-Only Tours

Insight Vacations has announced its new women-only itineraries which are set to take place for the first time in May 2025. The tours are limited to just 24 guests and span destinations from North Africa to South America.

According to industry reports, independent female travel is set to surge in 2025, with 71% of solo luxury travellers being women—a movement dubbed ‘Wander Women’.

This can be seen in the booking demand for the series when it launched, which sold fast across popular destinations including Italy, Croatia and India, and is also surged in destinations such as Peru (up 61%), Portugal (up 23%), Scandinavia (up 20% and Morocco (up 15%).

Kelly Jackson, Managing Director, TTC Tour Brands, said: “If your female clients are looking to go solo, on a girl’s trip, or spending time with female friends and family members, there’s no reason to look any further for your clients than Insight Vacations.

“These tours are so much more than just travelling with like-minded females. They are crafted by females, for females, with everything from female Travel Directors to female Coach Drivers.”

Each tour is led by an experienced female Travel Director and features exclusive experiences with inspiring local women.

Guests will also take part in MAKE TRAVEL MATTER™ experiences, ensuring a meaningful impact on the communities they visit while supporting at least one United Nations Sustainable Development Goal.

With International Women’s Day 2025 focusing on the theme ‘Accelerate Action’, these trips champion real change by fostering new opportunities for women and promoting financial independence.

In Aswan, on the Splendours of Egypt Tour, the group will meet the members of a local women-owned co-operative, who empower over 300 vulnerable women from the local villages to learn new skills and become financially independent.

Thanks to their newly learnt skills, the women are now able to become the primary earners for their families.

During the Best of Morocco Tour, travellers will visit Amal, a non-profit culinary centre uplifting women through chef training.

Guests will then learn to make Moroccan delicacies like Gazelle horns, Ghreyba cookies, and Msemme, while gaining insight into Moroccan women’s experiences.

On the Peru and Machu Picchu tour, art lovers will revel in their visit to Museo Larco, the highest-rated museum in South America and home to the largest collection of pre-Colombian art.

After lunch, against the backdrop of an 18th-century garden, guests will learn about the role of women in ancient Peru and meet with a female archaeologist who shares her knowledge of this fascinating museum and Peruvian history.

Guests will visit the women-run winery, Lungerotti, where sisters Chiara and Teresa, alongside their mother Maria Grazia, create outstanding wines on Country Roads of Italy.

Founded by their father Giorgio, pioneer talented women are preserving traditions while innovating for the future while indulging in wine and olive oil tasting at the cellar door.

Kelly also said: “For women who are looking for a holiday where they can make new friends and enrich their lives in premium comfort with a longstanding, trusted brand who takes care of everything, an Insight Vacations Women-only tour is simply the perfect choice.”

Like all Insight Vacations Small Group tours, the ease of a guided framework with an elevated level of detail is present throughout.

Guests can expect five and four-star hotel stays, with many solo room supplement options, premium dining at an exceptional range of restaurants, and ‘Business Class’ style coaches in Europe and the United States that offer double the legroom and twice the view.
