Jet2.com has added extra flights to Rome for the Ryder Cup.
The airline said the extra flights are so that more people can get to the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club on the outskirts of Rome to witness the action first-hand next year.
Customers can fly from Birmingham, Manchester and London Stansted airports, after reporting strong bookings around the 2023 Ryder Cup dates.
Jet2.com is already operating flights to Rome from six UK airports during the tournament and has moved quickly to add extra choice for golf fans wanting to travel to and from Rome.
The following seven services have been added in response to continued demand for flights around the Ryder Cup dates:
- Birmingham – additional departures on Wednesday 27th September and Monday 2nd October 2023.
- Manchester – additional departures on Tuesday 26th September, Monday 2nd October and Tuesday 3rd October 2023.
- London Stansted – additional departures on Wednesday 27th September and Monday 2nd October 2023.
These additional flights mean that Jet2.com will now operate 27 weekly flights from the UK to Rome during the tournament.
Jet2 is offering a total of six services from Birmingham, nine from Manchester, six from London Stansted, two from Glasgow, two from Leeds Bradford and two from Newcastle International for the week.
