Jet2.com and Jet2holidays yesterday celebrated five years at Birmingham and London Stansted Airports with customers and colleagues.
The companies started operating from Birmingham and London Stansted Airports in 2017.
In a statement, the companies said that they “have experienced substantial growth and success”, with over 5 million customers having travelled on either a flight with Jet2.com or a package holiday with Jet2holidays from each of the bases.
The airline began with 15 destinations from Birmingham Airport and now operates to 60 sun, city and ski holiday hotspots.
From London Stansted Airport, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays operated to 21 destinations when they first launched and today now operate to 48 holiday hotspots – with Alicante proving to be Birmingham customers’ number one sunshine destination and from London Stansted it is Tenerife.
