Jet2 has launched a brand-new campaign, ‘Holiday Saving Experts’ to support independent travel agents.
The campaign offers agents a ‘huge’ range of advice on how to help customers make their money go further, whilst possibly saving £1,000’s on their own business bills this winter.
The multi-channel campaign, which is now live, has been designed to position independent travel agents as ‘Holiday Saving Experts’ so they can provide money-saving tips for customers, whilst promoting and selling package holidays.
Jet2 is also hosting an exclusive competition for independent travel agents that could help save them £1,000 a month off their business bills over the winter.
To stand a chance of winning, independent travel agents simply need to promote the campaign to customers in their shop windows or on social media.
With five winners to be picked over five weeks, Jet2holidays will pay up to £1,000 off their business bills every month for four months (November to February).
In addition, Jet2holidays is also inviting independent travel agents to provide their own tips on social media to help their customers’ money go further.
The campaign will provide independent travel agents with a vast array of tips to target customers with.
As well as providing useful advice, many of the tips are brought to life as they come straight from real-life colleagues and customers. They include advice and tips such as:
- Promoting flexibility around payments such as a low £60 per person deposit.
- Pushing book now messages to lock in the price because Jet2holidays will not introduce a surcharge.
- Thinking about flexible durations and choosing the length of holiday that suits the customer, not just a traditional seven or ten-night holiday.
- Be flexible with dates – with four seasons on sale through Jet2holidays, customers have lots of choices meaning they can expand their search options.
- It pays to package – ATOL protection and everything wrapped up in one place give more assurance and value.
- Always remember – Jet2holidays is the home of Free Child Places! – there are thousands of Free Child Places available.
In addition, the campaign showcases how assurance messages can help win customers, such as booking through a Which? Recommended Travel Provider.
There are also tips on how to choose from a huge product range that can help save pennies, whether that is choosing a different star rating, board basis, room type, destination or departure airport.
Jet2holidays will target agents through a number of channels including email, social, video and training sessions.
The Trade Team will provide agents with bespoke marketing collateral such as in-store branding, window posters, social media content and even ‘Holiday Saving Expert’ badges for agents to wear.
