Jet2holidays has appointed two new Trade Sales Executives to work with agency partners across Scotland, Cumbria, the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
Aileen Rutherford and Ryan Clayton have joined the UK’s leading tour operator to many leisure destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.
They both bring over 35 years’ experience to Jet2holidays and expand its award-winning trade team to 14.
Aileen has been appointed to cover Scotland and Cumbria, while Ryan will cover the East Midlands and South Yorkshire regions.
As Trade Sales Executives, both Aileen and Ryan will be responsible for working in collaboration with independent travel agents to help them market, promote and sell package holidays for them to grow their businesses and increase sales.
Jet2holidays said that these latest appointments demonstrate its continued commitment to investing in its independent travel agency partners.
As part of its Partners2Success approach, the company is committed to giving them the tools and skills to attract customers and sell package holidays to drive business growth.
The most recent example of this successful approach includes ‘Jet2holidays Learn’, a brand-new ‘one-stop online shop’ that gives independent travel agents the knowledge and tools to help them increase sales and grow their businesses.
Aileen has 20 years in the travel industry working as a Retail Manager at an independent high street agent and as Assistant Manager and Retail Manager for a leisure, travel and tourism company.
Ryan has over 15 years experience, after starting his career as a Sales Consultant for a travel group where he then spent 14 years working in various roles.
Afterwards, Ryan took up the roles of Business Development Executive and then Branch Manager for an independent travel agency.
