The enhanced programme responds to increasing interest in multi‑centre journeys, with travellers looking to combine regions, culture and hands‑on experiences rather than visit a single destination.

Kuoni is seeing growing demand for itineraries that balance iconic sights with quieter, less crowded areas. Kuoni’s new collection of multi‑centre itineraries showcases Italy’s diversity through expertly planned routes, enabling travellers to explore multiple regions with ease.

Each itinerary is designed to be flexible, allowing customers to choose how they travel. Options include self‑drive journeys for maximum independence, rail‑based routes for those keen to sit back and enjoy the scenery, or private transfers for added comfort.

Examples of 3 of Kuoni’s new itineraries:

The Essential Puglia Self‑Drive is aimed at travellers looking for authentic Italy away from the crowds. The route links Matera, Alberobello, combining ancient cave dwellings, trulli villages and scenic countryside drives into an easy‑paced itinerary.

For travellers wanting to explore Italy’s headline cities in one seamless journey, the 11 night Italy Grand Tour brings together Venice, Verona, Rome and the Amalfi Coast.

Included experiences feature a private gondola ride by day in Venice, skip‑the‑line access to Verona’s Roman Arena, a guided archaeological tour in Rome, and a half‑day exploration of Pompeii from Sorrento.

Meanwhile, Treasures of Sicily offers a deeper exploration of the island’s dramatic landscapes, history and cuisine.

Highlights of the 9-night holiday include time in Taormina alongside guided excursions such as a Mount Etna discovery tour, allowing travellers to explore Europe’s most iconic active volcano, with the option to extend the trip to visit the Aeolian Islands, a dreamy cluster of volcanic islands off the coast of Sicily.

In addition to the multi-centre holidays, Kuoni has added 23 new hotels across Italy’s most popular and captivating regions, including the Amalfi Coast, Puglia, Sicily, Tuscany, Umbria, Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore.

The new additions broaden choice for couples, families and different budgets, and span boutique retreats, historic cave hotels, luxury palaces, wellness‑led estates and premium coastal resorts.

Standout additions include Sextantio Le Grotte della Civita in Matera, a unique cave hotel carved from ancient stone dwellings within one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities.

In Tuscany, Castel Monastero sits within an 11th‑century medieval hamlet, offering Michelin‑starred dining and a destination spa surrounded by rolling countryside.

On Lake Garda, Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort, just outside Riva del Garda, offers a peaceful parkland setting away from the busy lakeside promenade, ideal for scenic walks and easy access to the water.

Angelo D’Avino, Product Manager at Kuoni, said: “Italy has always been one of our most requested destinations, and what we’re seeing now is a growing desire to explore it in more depth.

“This expanded programme allows our customers to connect with the country through experiences that feel authentic and personal – whether that’s staying in a historic village, taking part in local food traditions or travelling between regions by rail.

“Our travel experts work closely with trade partners to create tailor‑made trips filled with ‘wow’ moments that really bring Italy to life.”
