The three-part webinar programme follows the success of Kuoni’s Passport to Africa training initiative earlier this year, which was introduced as part of the operator’s wider investment in supporting trade partners. Africa has been one of Kuoni’s fastest-growing destinations, with bookings for 2027 up 21% year-on-year.
Hosted by Matt Sole, Trade Engagement Executive at Kuoni, the September programme will give trade partners practical selling tips, destination knowledge and insight into some of Africa’s most popular safari and beach combinations.
Trade partners attending the webinars will also have the chance to win a £50 voucher at each session.
The new virtual format means trade partners from across the UK can take part, while a brand-new module focused on Africa beyond safari has been added in response to growing interest in Zanzibar and multi-centre Africa itineraries.
Kuoni’s Africa Product Manager, Helen Austin, will join the final ‘beyond safari’ session to share expert insight and inspiration. The three webinars will cover:
Session One: Why Kuoni? Kenya Spotlight – Thursday 10 September, 10am
An introduction to Kuoni’s Africa programme, including what sets the operator apart, destination expertise and an in-depth look at Kenya.
Session Two: Tanzania and South Africa – Thursday 17 September, 10am
A closer look at two of Kuoni’s most popular Africa destinations, exploring the different experiences they offer and how trade partners can match the destinations to their customers.
Session Three: Africa Beyond Safari – Thursday 24 September, 10am
A new addition to the programme, focusing on how trade partners can enhance safari holidays with unique experiences and destination extensions, including an in-depth look at Zanzibar and its growing appeal beyond the traditional beach break.
Sarah Weetman, Head of Trade Partnerships at Kuoni said: “Following the fantastic response to our Passport to Africa training earlier this year, we wanted to make the programme accessible to even more trade partners by taking it online.
“Africa remains one of the most exciting and fastest-growing areas of our business, and we’re seeing increasing interest in itineraries that combine safari experiences with beach destinations such as Zanzibar.
“These sessions are designed to give trade partners the knowledge and confidence they need to create incredible Africa holidays for their customers, while showcasing the breadth of experiences available across the continent.”
