Turismo de Lisboa has introduced a new voucher system whereby passengers arriving in Lisbon can now know the price of their taxi journey from Humberto Delgado Airport in advance. Prices start at €16 and vary according to the destination zone and time of travel.

The new voucher system is managed by Turismo de Lisboa (ATL) and divides destinations within the city of Lisbon into two zones.
The fare is fixed and known before departure, making taxi journeys from the airport simpler and more transparent. Specific fares apply to groups of more than four passengers travelling in vehicles with the appropriate capacity.
António Valle, Director-General of Turismo de Lisboa, says: “This is the standard Lisbon sets for the world: exceptional hospitality and trust from the very moment you arrive.
“A pre-defined fare benefits everyone: visitors arriving in Lisbon, residents returning home and taxi drivers themselves, who can provide a service with clearer rules and build greater trust with passengers.”
ATL’s voucher system divides destinations within the city of Lisbon into two zones. On weekdays, between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, the fare is €16 for Zone 1 and €19 for Zone 2.
These fares cover up to four passengers and their luggage. At weekends, on Portuguese public holidays and between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, fares are €20 for Zone 1 and €23 for Zone 2.
For groups of more than four passengers travelling in vehicles with the appropriate capacity, the fare is €20 for Zone 1 and €23 for Zone 2 on weekdays between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. At weekends, on Portuguese public holidays and between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, fares are €24 and €28, respectively.
Zone 1 covers Alvalade, Areeiro, Avenidas Novas, Beato, Lumiar, Marvila, Olivais, Parque das Nações, Penha de França and Santa Clara. Zone 2 covers Ajuda, Alcântara, Arroios, Belém, Benfica, Campolide, Campo de Ourique, Carnide, Estrela, Misericórdia, Santa Maria Maior, Santo António, São Domingos de Benfica and São Vicente.
The fare shown on the voucher is the final price of the journey, with no additional charges.
Vouchers can be purchased at the Ask Me Lisboa Tourism Desk at Humberto Delgado Airport, open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
