The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Maldives are currently in the process of creating a travel corridor, allowing vaccinated travellers to move freely between the two countries.
No specific date has been revealed yet, however, the governments of the two countries are in discussion.
There are hopes the plan will be completed by early June and will allow any visitors who have received two doses of any World Health Organisation-approved vaccine without the need to show PCR test results.
