With UK Summer Sailings just around the corner, MSC Cruises have begun their fleet-wide Covid-19 vaccine programme for its entire crew.
The flagship, MSC Virtuosa, crew will be fully vaccinated ahead of the ships maiden voyage from 20th May around the UK.
With a number of cruises planned for summer 2021 in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe as well as those in the Caribbean, the crew onboard these ten ships will be prioritised.
MSC has said: “The plan is for all MSC Cruises’ crew on board operational vessels, as well as ships preparing to restart in parts of the world the company has served traditionally, to be vaccinated against Covid-19.”
“This becomes an additional core element of the company’s industry-leading health and safety protocol that has already supported MSC Cruises operations since its first ship returned to service in August last year,” the company added.
