APT & Travelmarvel has launched its 2025 Worldwide Touring portfolio, bringing four exciting new destinations and a new touring style to the market.
The programme, supported by a comprehensive 80-page print and digital brochure, is APT’s most comprehensive touring product to date, said the company in a statement.
The new portfolio also features the debut collection of five inspiring Small Group Journeys alongside the operator’s traditional and ever-popular group touring itineraries.
APT & Travelmarvel’s Sales Team will work closely with agents in the coming months, educating them about the unique selling points and key differences between Small Group Journeys and brand’s Escorted Tours.
Executing a campaign that includes a £50 Love2Shop booking incentive, training, sales tools, and marketing assets, APT will familiarise partners with the Small Group Journey proposition.
They will also help the trade to harness “the full sales potential that touring can offer, and position the brand as the ‘go-to’ operator for escorted holidays” following the success of its brand building in the river cruise sector.

NEW: Small Group Journeys
APT has unveiled a brand-new way for its guests to tour from 2025 – the inaugural collection of Small Group Journeys has been developed to offer a more intimate and immersive way of exploring for up to 16 like-minded travellers.
The carefully curated itineraries have allowed APT to expand into the new destination of South Africa for the first time, and reinstate operations in Sri Lanka, Japan and India back for the first time in many years.
APT tested the concept in April, pre-releasing details of two Small Group Journeys in India to garner feedback from the trade.
The reaction was “extremely positive”, and the experiential nature of the itineraries was highlighted as the standout selling point.

APT is offering savings of up to £500 per person, on all new Small Group Journeys bookings made before 31 October 2024. with savings of up to £500 per person.

The 13-day Discover the Beauty of Sri Lanka, Colombo return, costs from £2,595 (saving up to £500) per person, twin share, and includes transfers, accommodation, 21 meals, sightseeing, and an expert local guide.
Highlights include a visit to a Buddhist monastery in Melsiripura, a Sri Lankan cooking demonstration in Habarana, and a tour of the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya with a local botanist.
Guests can also explore the culture and history of the Indigenous Vedda community in Dambana, and take part in a Cinnamon Tapping experience with a local in Galle.
Departures run from January to December 2025.
The 13-day Reveal the Traditions of Japan journey, from Toyko to Osaka, costs from £5,995 per person (saving up to £500), twin share, and includes transfers, accommodation, 21 meals, sightseeing, and an expert local guide.
Highlights include experiencing the rich tradition of a Japanese tea ceremony at a family home in Tokyo, taking part in a sushi-making class in Kyoto and learning the art of calligraphy with a hands-on shodo lesson in Nara.
Guests will also embark on an in-depth discovery of Osaka’s many culinary delights. Departures run from February to November 2025.
The 13-day Uncover the Essence of South Africa, Cape Town to Johannesburg, costs from £3,995 per person (saving up to £500), twin share, and includes transfers, accommodation, 26 meals, sightseeing, and an expert local guide.
Highlights include delving into the fascinating culture of Bo-Kaap’s Cape Malay community and joining an interactive cooking experience in Cape Town, delighting in a unique dining experience in the Cape Winelands, and give a greater understanding of wine, food and flavours.
Guests can also enjoy a luxurious, all-inclusive safari stay in the heart of Kariega National Park, while giving back to the local communities and conservation projects that surround it. Departures run from January to December 2025.

APT is launching its Small Group Journeys programme with a special agent incentive, rewarding the trade with £50 of Love2Shop vouchers for any 2024 or 2025 Small Group booking made before 5 August 2024.
All eligible bookings should be registered on the APT Agent Club or with the APT Sales Team before 23:59 on Thursday 8th August 2024.
