Visit West has revealed a new Bath at Christmas campaign images featuring Santa in iconic Bath locations.
The concept and art direction have been delivered in partnership with Bristol design agency Stuff and photographed by Adam Gasson.
The shots aim to showcase “the beauty and magical atmosphere of the city” during the festive period and encourage visitors to book mid-week breaks, stay longer and explore more.
The images along with snappy wording and straplines will be placed across digital channels including the Visit Bath website, social media channels, email marketing and advertising.
Agents can go to visitbath.co.uk/Christmas for inspirational Christmas content and features, and look out for Santa (and his red hat!) at the Roman Baths.
Santa can also be seen bathing in the rooftop pool of the Thermae Bath Spa, stepping off the train at Bath Spa station, relaxing in bed at Hotel Indigo Bath, dining at Green Park Brasserie, the Bird Hotel and Sally Lunns, and outside of Bath Abbey.
Jon Chamberlain, Head of Marketing, Visit West, said: “We wanted to create more of an awareness of the whole visitor offer around the festive period, and who better to be our ambassador than Father Christmas!
“We are showcasing things to do, experiences, places to stay, where to eat and drink, and the fabulous shopping in Bath to encourage people to take their time and stay overnight during November and December – if Father Christmas is having more than a flying visit, then so should you!”.
Richard Spruce, Creative Director, Stuff Creative Studio said: “We’ve really enjoyed bringing our campaign concept to life, capturing all these wonderful scenes with some beautiful photography that shows Santa taking some time out and enjoying everything that Bath has to offer at Christmas.”
