The Islands of Tahiti has announced new hotel openings throughout the destination including The Maitai Express Tahiti and Maitai Lapita Village Huahine.
The Maitai Express Tahiti is set to open in April 2023 on Prince Hinoi Avenue and will be conveniently located within a 3-min walk of the ferry terminal and the market of Papeete.
The 2* superior hotel offers fifty-six rooms and 8 suites, spread over 5 floors and a breakfast-only service, a tour desk, parking (for a fee) and high-speed wifi (free of charge).
The Maitai Lapita Village Huahine will add private swimming pools to ten of its Garden Bungalows and five Premium Garden Bungalows.
All 32 spacious bungalows overlook a lake and tropical gardens, while the restaurant and swimming pool offers views of the lagoon and a beautiful white sand beach.
At The Brando, Executive Chef Pierre Lecorne and Polynesian Chef Hereiti Seaman have come together to create vegan dishes which are now on offer at three of its restaurants.
At Nami Teppanyaki, the menu will include vegetable tempura, vegetarian spring rolls with taro, mushrooms and pota and Japanese pasta with green tea.
At Les Mutinés restaurant, guests can dine on custom-made vegan dishes made from the freshest local produce.
Beachcomber Cafe will also offer a range of vegan options depending on the produce available.
At InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa’s Le Lotus restaurant, Bruno Oger, 2-star Michelin Chef has created a new menu which focuses on fresh produce from the sea infused with local Tahitian plants and herbs.
