Wizz Air has announced the launch of a new route from London Gatwick Airport to Chișinău, Moldova, further expanding its growing network from the UK.

From October, customers will be able to fly directly from London Gatwick to Chișinău, the capital of Moldova four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The new year-round service will complement Wizz Air’s existing flights to Chișinău from London Luton Airport, providing UK travellers with even more opportunities to discover one of Eastern Europe’s emerging destinations.
Known for its leafy boulevards, thriving café culture and renowned wineries, Chișinău offers visitors a blend of history, culture and hospitality.
Beyond the capital, Moldova is home to some of Europe’s oldest wine regions, picturesque countryside and historic monasteries, making it an increasingly popular destination for travellers looking to explore somewhere new.
Launching on 25 October 2026, the route will operate year-round, providing customers with even more opportunities to travel throughout the year. Fares start from £36.99* and tickets are now available on wizzair.com and via Wizz Air’s official mobile app.

The additional routes come as Wizz Air continues to grow its footprint across the UK and Europe, with the airline recently celebrating the milestone of operating 1,200 flights in a single day.
