The new trips feature regional fly options, pre-packaged inclusions, and destinations that either complement existing bestsellers in the current Newmarket Holidays portfolio, or respond directly to customer demand.
The Spirit of Budapest & the Danube is a four-night city break built around an included guided city tour with the Castle District and a full-day Danube Bend excursion returning to Budapest by boat.
Customers can choose from seven departure dates from May-December 2027. The tour follows a popular short-break formula, with similar-length trips performing well, making Budapest feel like a natural fit.
Timeless Romania – Bucharest & Transylvania is an eight-day tour through four cities, taking in the Palace of Parliament, the UNESCO-listed Saxon villages of Transylvania, King Charles III’s connections at Viscri, Dracula’s Castle at Bran, and the Libearty Bear Sanctuary.
Customers can enjoy three included dinners, with all entrance fees included throughout. There is a choice of nine departure dates throughout April to October 2027. The launch of this tour responds to growing customer interest in the region, building on the success of Slovenia and Albania.
Prague, Dresden & Colditz Castle is an eight-day tour combining the Bohemian capital with the Czech spa towns of Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne, the dramatic landscapes of Saxon Switzerland National Park, the Baroque streets of Dresden, Meissen porcelain, and a guided visit to Colditz Castle.
No other Newmarket Holidays tour combines all of these locations within a single itinerary, which will be a valuable selling point for agents. The tour offers multiple regional departure airports, across five departure dates throughout June to October 2027.
Austria – Salzburg & the Eastern Alps reintroduces Austria to the Newmarket Holidays programme with a seven-night stay at the newly built 4-star KALM Aparthotel in Werfenweng, on a premium all-inclusive basis. Included excursions cover Salzburg, Zell am See with cable car tickets included, the Salzkammergut lake region, Bad Gastein, and a visit to a Rauris alpine hut with schnapps distillery and bacon smoking demonstration.
Austria’s return to the Newmarket Holidays portfolio responds directly to customer requests as a popular location, and offers no single supplement for solo travellers.
Flights run from Gatwick to Salzburg, with a regional option via Heathrow to Munich. This tour offers six departure dates throughout May to October 2027.
Hayley Morris, Head of Trade Sales and Partnerships, said: “These four new tours give travel agents a strong and varied set of options for customers looking at Europe across 2027.
“From a four-night city break in Budapest to eight days across Transylvania, from Colditz Castle to an Austrian all-inclusive with no single supplement, there’s something here for a wide range of customers.
“These are destinations customers are asking for, and the itineraries are built to make them easy to recommend.”
