Newmarket Holidays Sees 189% Rise In Long-Haul Bookings

Driven by the early success, the operator has increased its number of offerings, with 33 long-haul tours now available to book, up from 15 at launch. The 2029 range covers six regions: Africa, East Asia, India and the Indian Ocean, Latin America, North America, and Southeast Asia.

Best-Selling Tours

The best-selling tours since launch have been On Safari in South Africa – Mabula Lodge, Elvis Presley’s Memphis, New Orleans & Nashville, and On Safari in South Africa – Rhino West Lodge. All three tours reflect customers’ desire for wish-list travel, with the benefits of an escorted tour.

Further 2029 tours will be released before peaks, giving agents a wider choice heading into the busiest selling period of the year. With long-haul bookings already arriving well ahead of departure, it’s a chance to get clients booked before the rush.

Hayley Morris, Head of Trade Sales and Partnerships at Newmarket Holidays, said: “Launching 2029 early has paid off.

“We’re seeing triple-digit growth in passenger numbers, which shows customers are ready to plan their long-haul holidays further out, and we’ve been adding tours to keep pace with that demand.

“For our trade partners, that means more to sell, sooner, and more time to secure their clients’ first-choice dates.”
