Oceania Cruises Sets Record for Single Best Booking Days in History’s Company

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading cruise ship company under Miami, Florida-based Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Limited, on Wednesday (3/3) last week set the record for the most travel bookings in one day in the company’s 18-year history.

The record was created after Oceania Cruises opened its “2022-2023 Tropical and Exotic Collection” travel program that day to the public. It did not say how many tickets were sold that day, but the company offers 127 travel programs ranging from 7 to 77 days across Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, South America and the South Pacific.

“The wave of bookings is overwhelming we’re seeing on the day we open our 2022 and 2023 itinerary,” said Bob Binder, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises, in Miami on Thursday (10/3). “High-end travelers are eager to explore the world one more time and book ahead of time to ensure their travel dreams are fulfilled.”

The success of Oceania Cruises in setting record bookings for the “2022-2023 Tropical and Exotic Collection” travel program reinforces the fact that wealthy people really miss travel. Because, on January 27, the same company also successfully sold all tickets for the trip “2023 Around the World in 180 Days” on the first day of its offering.
