Cathay Pacific is distributing over 3,000 round-trip tickets from the UK to Hong Kong under the “World of Winners” campaign sponsored by Airport Authority Hong Kong.
In support of the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s (HKTB’s) “Hello Hong Kong” campaign, “World of Winners” will give away 500,000 tickets globally.
Flying from London Heathrow or Manchester Airport, successful entrants will receive one Economy round-trip ticket, excluding taxes and surcharges.
Travellers can enjoy feasting in the world-renowned food scene, while further indulging all their senses by visiting key attractions such as the Tian Tan Buddha or taking a junk boat trip around Victoria Harbour.
Kinto Chan, Cathay Pacific Regional General Manager Europe said: “As the home carrier for Hong Kong we take great pride in the close relationship we have with the UK.
“We are excited to be bringing back passengers to our home and we look forward to showcasing the hospitality and the rich offerings that our city has to offer the moment they board our flights.”
To take part, participants must sign up to be a Cathay member through Cathay Pacific’s website.
The giveaway will run from 9am on 09 May 2023 until 15 May 2023.
During this period, tickets will be awarded to the first 3,260 members who enter the correct answers through the campaign-specific website.
Each member may submit one entry only. The successful entrant will receive an email with details on how to redeem their prize once the campaign has ended on 15 May.
Kenneth Wong, Regional Director of Europe, Hong Kong Tourism Board said:
“The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced the ‘Hello Hong Kong’ campaign earlier this year, which shares the city’s warm welcome to the world.
“Hong Kong is delighted to welcome visitors from Europe. It is a vibrant and diverse city offering everything from world-class museums, historic architecture, incredible dining and nightlife and, beyond its iconic skyline, refreshing hiking experiences.”
Vivian Cheung, Chief Operation Officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong, said:
“As part of the relief package for Hong Kong’s aviation industry during the pandemic, we provided liquidity support to the home-based carriers in 2020 by sponsoring air tickets in advance, with the goal of using the tickets to promote traffic recovery when the pandemic subsides.
“Hong Kong has opened up and we are eager to welcome visitors from different parts of the world.
“Various new services and facilities are in place at Hong Kong International Airport and we are looking forward to providing passengers a brand new airport experience.”
Tickets must be redeemed between 5 June and 4 July to avoid forfeiting the prize tickets.
Tickets are valid for nine months from the issue date of the Redemption Code Email. Blackout period applies. Full terms and conditions can be found here.
