Travellers heading to sunny Portugal from the UK will no longer need to take a mandatory PCR test on arrival.
Algarve Tourism announced that travellers can now use lateral flow tests, which are provided to UK citizens free of charge, as proof they don’t have Covid-19.
Lateral flow tests must be carried out within 24 hours of boarding a flight to Portugal.
These changes take place with immediate effect.
Portugal currently remains on the amber list for the UK.
