Portugal has removed all Covid-19 entry restrictions.
According to Visit Portugal’s website, as of 1 July 2022, vaccinated passengers entering the country are no longer required to present proof of vaccination.
Also from 1 July, non-vaccinated travellers no longer need to undergo tests to screen for Covid-19.
Passengers also no longer need to show their COVID-EU digital certificates or recovery certificates upon entry.
General rules are still in place. These include mandatory face masks in public transport, nursing homes and health facilities.
Travellers are urged to observe the general behaviour guidelines while in Portugal, including social distancing, frequent hand washing and basic respiratory etiquette.
