Qantas On Track For Mid-December UK Restart

Qantas has revealed it is still on track to resumes its UK service before the end of the year.

With the extension of Australia’s overseas travel ban by three months, the resumption of flights has been taken back to mid-December.

Qantas had already earmarked mid-December for the restart of flights to the UK and other long-haul destinations and has reassured customers by email.

“With vaccinations continuing to roll out across Australia, we are getting ready to reunite our customers with their family, friends, colleagues, and favourite destinations around the globe,” said the email from Qantas Group chief executive Alan Joyce.

60% of Australian’s have now been given their first dose, whilst 35% are double jabbed. Britain is now rushing four million Pfizer doses to Australia.
