From 1st September, Qatar Airways has increased its flights from Edinburgh to three times a week, increasing to four flights a week from the beginning of October.
Additionally, Manchester airport will have an increase from three flights a week to 10 flights per week, increasing in October to 14 flights a week.
This increase in flights is to meet the pent-up demand following the easing of travel restrictions.
Qatar’s border reopening in July to international travellers who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 without the need to quarantine.
All visitors, whether they are vaccinated or not, are required to undertake a PCR test up to 72 hours prior to arrival.
Qatar is currently on the UK government’s amber list.
