Qatar Airways has launched a new service to Santorini with flights now available thrice weekly to the popular Greek island.
The airline has also resumed service to Mykonos from 3 June, offering four-weekly flights to the island while flights to Athens have increased to a double daily service.
Qatar Airways’ first flight from Doha to Santorini was completed on Tuesday 07 June.
The airline marked the occasion by creating a bespoke in-flight food menu featuring traditional Greek cuisine, specially decorated cutlery bands, and an illustrated menu card for Business Class customers.
Passengers were also gifted celebratory cupcakes to mark the occasion.
The island destination joins Athens and Mykonos to become the third Greek gateway to be served by the national carrier of the State of Qatar.
