Ramble Worldwide has launched an exciting new selection of 17 ‘Weekend Adventure Breaks’.
The new three-night breaks pack in some of their most thrilling trails and inspiring routes across the UK and Europe with the added excitement of conquering a peak or two.
Customers can choose from a portfolio of ‘challenging’ walking itineraries ranging from grade 6 to grade 8 led by at least one very experienced walk leader and in small groups of up to 16 people.
They are also ideal for those who are short on time but searching for a high-energy weekend challenge with all of the logistics meticulously arranged – for which Ramble Worldwide is renowned.
Easing the way to higher grade walks in the UK, options include covering stretches of the impressive 600-mile South West Coast Path before graduating to more challenging options.
This includes bagging 13 Wainwrights fells in the heart of the Lake District or summitting five of the Welsh 3000s hiking in Snowdonia’s National Park.
On a quick getaway to Europe, customers will experience high-level adventure hiking around the base of Monte Nero on the slopes of Sicily’s ever-active volcano, Mount Etna.
Heading up into its lofty peaks and Alpine meadows there is also the chance for them to explore Slovenia’s Julian Alps with Instagram-worthy views of the lakes and surrounding mountains.
They can also discover the largest mountain range in Spain hiking along a section of Andalucia’s GR7 long-distance route through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada National Park.
Designed to fit around a Friday to Monday 4 day/3-night weekend break, each itinerary has two full days of action-packed hiking on Saturday and Sunday.
All itineraries include accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, all local transport and entrances outlined in the itinerary and the services of a very experienced walk leader.
