Each journey has been expertly crafted to showcase the country’s extraordinary contrasts and its diversity, making for world-class walking experiences that go beyond the tourist trail.
Highlights include high altitude trekking in Ladakh, a remote land of preserved Tibetan Buddhist culture and extraordinary landscapes; a scenic journey through India’s Himalayan mountains and Bhutan with a hike to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery and the UNESCO World Heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
Customers will also explore the hidden heartland of Madhya Pradesh, with a side trip to one of India’s most iconic monuments the Taj Mahal; and hill trekking in South India’s spectacularly lush Western Ghats combined with Tamil Nadu’s Raj-era hill station of Kodaikanal.
