Riviera Travel has added four new solo river cruise departures for 2027 in response to strong demand from customers.

The newly released sailings include:
- Burgundy, The River Rhône – departing 4 November 2027, from £2,699
- The Blue Danube – departing 3 November 2027, from £2,749
- The Blue Danube – departing 9 November 2027, from £2,749
- Porto, Douro & Salamanca – departing 11 November 2027, from £2,499
The dedicated solo departures follow the same itineraries as Riviera Travel’s standard river cruises, with additional features designed for customers travelling alone.
Every guest will receive a spacious double cabin for their sole use. The experience also includes a meet-and-greet for solo travellers at UK airports, welcome drinks and a hosted dinner on board.
Customers will be looked after by specialist Cruise Directors experienced in hosting solo guests, supported by a staff-to-guest ratio of one crew member for every two passengers.
Flights or Eurostar travel, transfers, full-board dining, an all-inclusive drinks package and a programme of shore excursions are included.
Riviera Travel can also arrange door-to-door transport, with rates available upon request.
