Riviera Travel has launched its European river cruise programme for 2024, with a total of 13 itineraries available to book from November 30, 2022.
301 departures will be on sale, from March to November, including seven dedicated to solo travellers.
Guests are able to save 10% on a middle or upper deck cabin on all 2024 river cruises, when booking by February 28, 2023.
The 2024 itineraries cover countries such as France, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and the Netherlands, and include:
Amsterdam, Kinderdijk and the Dutch Bulbfields. A five-day cruise, featuring five visits and tours including the Keukenhof Gardens, Enkhuizen, Kinderdijk and Rotterdam, and a canal cruise in Amsterdam. From £999pp.
The Blue Danube. An eight-day sailing featuring seven tours and visits including guided tours of Vienna, Salzburg or Linz, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava; and visits to Esztergom Basilica and Melk Abbey. From £1399pp.
Douro, Porto and Salamanca. An eight-day cruise featuring eight guided visits and tours including tour, lunch and a flamenco show in Salamanca; a guided tour of Porto with a port wine cellar visit; dinner at a typical Portuguese quinta; and visits to Castelo Rodrigo, Mateus Palace gardens and Lamego. Lyon, Provençal Rhône and the Camargue. An 11-day cruise featuring seven guided tours including Cluny Abbey, Beaune, Lyon, Avignon, Uzès, Arles and Orange, the Camargue with the Ornithological Park of Pont de Gau and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, the Pont du Gard and the Ardèche Gorges. This cruise was newly introduced for 2023. From £2699pp.
Cruise the Heart of Europe. A 15-day cruise featuring fifteen visits and tours including guided tours in Budapest, Vienna, Nuremberg, Bamberg, Bratislava, Koblenz, Boppard, Rüdesheim, Mainz, Miltenberg, Wertheim, Regensburg, Passau and Würzburg; plus a visit to the Benedictine monastery, Melk Abbey. Prices include return flights with regional airport options available at no additional cost; Eurostar travel on select itineraries; full board; and scheduled visits and tours.
Excursions are available every day, while sailings also include on-board lectures, port talks, entertainment and authentic regional menus.
An optional onboard drinks package is available to purchase, which offers a selection of drinks during lunch and dinner. The package starts from £79pp for a five-day sailing.
All itineraries are similarly sailing in 2023 and available to book now.
