Riviera Travel Announces 2025 Tall-Ship Cruise Programme

Riviera Travel has launched its tall-ship ocean cruise programme for 2025.

The programme includes three brand new departures, with six itineraries in total across two clippers, available to book now.

The sailings, departing between April and September 2025, cover the coasts of Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Spain and Malta. They comprise:

Spain, Balearics and Malta. New for 2025, 11-nights departing April 24, 2025, which includes a one-night pre-cruise stay in Malaga, nine-nights aboard the Star Clipper, and a one-night post-cruise stay in Malta.

Features guided tours of Mijas and Malaga with wine and tapas tasting, Almeria, Cartagena, Dalt Vila in Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Ciutadella on Menorca, Cagliari and Valletta and Mdina. Prices from £2999.

Malta, Sicily and Greece. New for 2025, 10-nights departing May 1, 2025, which includes a three-night pre-cruise stay in Malta, six-nights aboard the Star Clipper, and a one-night post-cruise stay in Athens.

Features guided tours in Malta including Gozo Island and visits to the Blue Grotto, Vittoriosa, Mdina and Valletta, Syracuse, Pylos and Nestor’s Palace, Epidaurus; visits to Nafplio and Monemvasia; and a choice of visiting the Acropolis or Cape Sounion. Prices from £2599.

Voyage across the Mediterranean. New for 2025, 17-nights departing April 24, 2025, which includes a one-night pre-cruise stay in Malaga, 15-nights aboard the Star Clipper and a one-night post-cruise stay in Athens.

Features guided tours of Malaga, Mijas, Almeria, Cartagena, Dalt Vila, Palma, Ciutadella, Cagliari, Valletta, Mdina, Syracruse, Pylos, Nestor’s Palace and Epidaurus; and visits to Monemvasia and either Cape Sounion or the Acropolis. Prices from £4599.

An Aegean Odyssey. 10-nights departing May 22, 2025, which includes a two-night pre-cruise stay in Istanbul, seven-nights aboard the Star Clipper, and a one-night post-cruise stay in Athens.

Features guided tours of Istanbul; tours of the Acropolis, Pergamon, Chios, Patmos, Santorini; and a visit to Monemvasia. Prices from £2999.

A Mediterranean Odyssey. 13-nights departing June 13, 2025, which includes a one-night pre-cruise stay in Rome, 11-nights aboard the Royal Clipper and a one-night post-cruise stay in Venice.

Features guided tours of Rome, Pompeii, Taormina, Corfu, Dubrovnik and Venice; and visits to Sorrento, Capri, Kotor, Hvar and Rovinj. Prices from £3699.

Ephesus and Greek Islands. 10-nights departing September 25, 2025, which includes a two-night pre-cruise stay and a one-night post-cruise stay in Athens and seven nights aboard the Star Clipper.

Includes guided tours of Athens, Corinth, Delos, Ephesus, Rhodes, Kos and Amorgos; and visits to Mykonos and Poros. Prices from £2899.

The Clippers are reconstructions of 19th-century four or five-masted ships. They combine age-old design with luxury on-board facilities.

The 16-sail Star Clipper has 83 cabins and accommodates up to 166 guests and 74 crew. It has two salt-water swimming pools, a sun deck, restaurant, tropical outside bar, library and lounge.

The 42-sail Royal Clipper has 114 cabins and accommodates up to 227 guests and 106 crew. The largest square-rigged ship in service, it boasts three salt-water swimming pools, a sun deck, restaurant, two bars, fitness suite with sauna, library and lounge.

Bookings include return flights with a choice of regional airports; full breakfast, buffet lunch, afternoon tea and an à la carte dinner on-board; breakfast included in the hotel stays; and an experienced tour manager throughout.

Also on sale, is a new Croatian Coast yacht cruise and stay for 2024. A total of ten sailings will take place from May to October.

The nine-night ‘Venice, Split & Treasures of the North’ itinerary comprises a two-night central hotel stay in Venice, with a seven-night cruise aboard MS Stella Maris.

The sailing features visits to Brijuni National Park, the islands of Mali Lošinj and Rab; guided tours of Pula, Šibenik, Zadar and Split; and a series of swim stops across the Dalmatian coast.

The MS Stella Maris accommodates up to 36 guests and includes 18 cabins, a sun deck with loungers, hot tub, restaurant and bar.

Prices start from £2399. Bookings include return flights with a choice of regional airports; transfers; on-board breakfasts, six lunches, one dinner plus a Captain’s Dinner; and an experienced tour manager throughout.
