Riviera Travel has shared its latest Deal of the Week, offering savings of up to £400 per person on its eight-day Douro, Porto & Salamanca river cruise.

Departing on 5 November 2026, the sailing is now available from £1,899 per person and includes a free all-inclusive drinks package.
Guests will sail through Portugal’s Douro Valley aboard a five-star ship, visiting Porto, Salamanca, Castelo Rodrigo and Lamego along the way.
The itinerary includes 10 experiences, including guided tours, visits to two historic wine estates and a Flamenco performance accompanied by a traditional tapas lunch.
Prices start from £1,899 per person for a Lower Deck cabin, representing a saving of £200 per person.
Middle Deck cabins are available from £2,649 per person, saving £300, while Upper Deck cabins start from £2,749 per person, saving £400.
Flights are available from Bristol, Dublin, London Luton, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester and Birmingham.

Highlights include a guided tour of Porto and a visit to a renowned port producer, a trip to the medieval hilltop village of Castelo Rodrigo and visits to two historic quintas to learn about the region’s wine production.
Guests will also explore Salamanca and attend a Flamenco show during a tapas lunch, before discovering Lamego, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies and Mateus Palace and Gardens.
