Riviera Travel has extended its door-to-door guest service to all Europe and worldwide escorted tours. The service was launched last month and was previously available to river cruises and UK tours only.
The door-to-door transfer allows guests to go directly from their UK pick-up point to a departure airport or airport hotel via private car. It has been extended following positive feedback from both the trade and guests, said the company in a statement.
The company said it would offer 1,300 escorted tours this year, on 92 itineraries, across six continents.
Tom Morgan, Head of Trade for the UK & Ireland at Riviera Travel, said:
“We’re pleased to offer further flexibility and choice for our escorted tour guests, regardless of which destination they are heading to.
“Our door-to-door service has proved particularly popular, and we’ve ensured we’ve listened to the trade following their positive feedback and requests to extend the initiative.
“We are confident this personal touch will make guests’ time away easy and even more memorable.”
The door-to-door service was originally introduced as part of Riviera’s ‘Travel Concierge’ offering, exclusively available to river cruise and UK escorted tour guests.
